Wow. It wasn’t long ago that I was trying to make sure I hadn’t misremembered owning a copy of Strategy Plus with Privateer 1 on the cover.
(Can I have the dusty poster? Not to mention any back issues you might be willing to sell….)

The first one I have is the one that says “TANK RUSH” and “DIABLO KILLER!”. And I have every one after that.

I have a complete collection of issues, from #1 through #196.
The posters and old issues still left in the office aren’t mine to sell, I’m afraid.

I always liked that TANK RUSH cover. We didn’t have a very good cover image, and weren’t convinced putting a tank on the cover was the way to go.
So, we scanned a real map one of our employees had (Scott Udell), overlaid the image, and voila, insta cover. And I thought “Tank Rush” was pretty clever (the article was a roundup of tank sims, I think), but it was definitely in common use thanks to Command & Conquer.

I spotted Commanche Gold (I actually got that from a friend years after the fact - never played it, and I’m pretty sure I don’t want to) or something similar on the top row.
By the way, is it possible for you to legally post scans of issues? I’d love to see an archive project. And if you have any extra issues that predate 2003, I’d love to buy them.

Seriously. EDGE is currently putting out their back issues in magazine collections called FILE. I would easily pay for the same thing with the CGM archives, print or digital.

EDGE, eh? I may look into that.
